Diffusion adapters

Adapters provide a means of integrating the Diffusion Server with other platforms and frameworks. They provide a means to ingest or export data, in many cases allowing data transformation to match the appropriate integration context.

Adapters are written using an extensible Gateway Framework. The framework can be used to author new adapters to suit specific applications.

Diffusion provides the following pre-built adapters, for which only configuration is necessary:

• AMQP adapter
• CDC adapter
• Diffusion adapter
• Kafka adapter
• Redis adapter
• REST adapter
