REST adapter

The REST adapter is a standalone application that enables periodic ingestion of data from an external REST API, into a nominated Diffusion topic.

The REST adapter is developed with and follows the standards of the Diffusion Gateway Framework.

TIP

If you're using Diffusion Cloud (our hosted Diffusion offering), you can easily set up a managed REST adapter directly from the dashboard, at no extra cost.

You can configure endpoints, polling frequency, authentication, and any other specifics of the REST service without leaving your browser.
